Tuberculin PPD for in vitro use is an immunological reagent for research on cellular immunity.
The product is produced from culture filtrates from virulent species of Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
The product is used for Lymphocyte proliferation assays and induction and measurement of proliferation and cytokine production in sensitised lymphocytes.
Further the product can be used for studies on migration inhibition of monocytes/macrophages and other phagocytozing cells.
The product is available in a concentration of 1 mg/ml in physiological PBS.
