Ordering and shipping

This page applies for ordering of diagnostic products from SSI. 

Ordering

If there is a SSI-diagnostica distributor in your country, you should send orders and price requests directly to our distributor. Please click here to see if there is a distributor in your country.

We aim to deliver orders for stock items to Europe within 5 workingdays and overseas orders for stock items within 10 workingdays.

However, the order may be held-up by factors like force majeure, legalization/certification of documents or requests for other documents than standard.

Please notice if an order already is in process, adding new items to the current order may cause extended processing time.

For quicker handling of orders, please indicate your customer number and item numbers.

Shipments to Europe

Orders are shipped on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from SSI Diagnostica.

Delivery terms are either CPT or CIP, named point of destination (Incoterms 2000). Freight and insurance costs are invoiced to the customer and appear as separate lines in the invoice.

In cooperation with Link Logistics we choose the courier, who is best qualified for the destination. Primarily, we use UPS, FedEx, TNT and Der Kurier Express. Shipments can also be arranged as EXW, SSI’s facilities – the shipment is then on the customers own risk and account.

Goods are mostly shipped in cool containers of polystyrene with cooling elements.

It is possible to dispatch urgent orders the same day – provided that the order is in our hands by 10 a.m. and the items ordered are in stock. Handling fee of 50.00 euro may apply for urgent orders.

Prices for shipments via courier to European countries

Shipments in cool containers: EUR 50,-
Shipments at room temperature: EUR 30,-
QuantiFERON shipments will, due to the volume, be invoiced
according to the invoice from the freight forwarder.
Additional fee for hazardous goods: EUR 67,-

Shipments overseas

Shipments to America, Australia and Asia are in general shipped by air for cool storage shipments and by courier for room temperature shipments.

If shipped by air the shipment will be stored cool at the airport. We recommend picking the shipment up immediately upon arrival.

We choose shipments on Fridays as we think it is the best solution for our customer, though on request we are able to ship any weekday.
