Patent rights
Statens Serum Institut (SSI) maintains an active patenting policy within our core research areas. SSI also patenting inventions outside our core areas if they are technologically and economically promising for out-licensing, development of collaborative research, development of pharmaceutika or have the potential of establishment of independent spin-off companies.
SSI's core activities are research, development and production of vaccines, diagnostica and diagnostics. We maintain patent or patenting in these areas:
