The Management Board of Statens Serum Institut is advised by the Institute Council, which consists of 5 members appointed by the Ministry for Health and Prevention, and two members elected by the Institute's employees. The Institute Council advises the Management Board on all issues considered to be of essential strategic importance to the Institute.
