E. coli O157:H7 latex kit – out of stock message

SSI Diagnostica is out of stock of item number 77645 E. coli O157:H7 latex kit. The production of a new batch is delayed due to problems with the H7 latex antiserum. Our development team is working intensively to solve the challenge. Meanwhile, you can order the E. coli O157 for latex agglutination, and the E. coli H7 single serum for use with formaldehyde-killed cultures, seperately. Please view item numbers below. We apologize for this situation and we will inform you immediately on this homepage once the kit is available again.

Salmonella antisera H:f,g, H:g,m, H:g,p, H:l,v and H:l,w will be discontinued from January 2012.

SSI Diagnostica has decided to discontinue five of our Salmonella H antisera which have caused misinterpretations of the use and of the results of the serotyping. The antisera concerned are H:f,g, H:g,m, H:g,p, H:l,v and H:l,w. We can offer alternative antisera for all five products which are better in terms of a more clear serotyping result. The following text explains why the products are phased out and which alternative products we offer in order to obtain proper serotyping results. We still have stock of the discontinued antisera, but once we are out of stock, we will not be able to supply them anymore. 

The Bordetella pertussis IgG-PT ELISA is now available for sale

SSI Diagnostica is now launching a Bordetella pertussis IgG-PT ELISA. Whooping cough is an increasing problem in adults, common in patients with chronic cough and can be a major risk of infection for unvaccinated children.

New rapid test for detection of Legionella

SSI Diagnostica is now launching a lateral flow test for detection of IgM to Legionella pneumophila serogroup 1 and 3. This test can detect serogroup 3 and be used for blood and serum, which is new in the rapid test market. The product is sold with the ImmuView^TM trademark.
