Statens Serum Institut (SSI) provides contract research in the field of infection and immunity.
SSI has state of the art laboratories and animal facilities. We offer design, planning and execution of in vitro and in vivo studies.
SSI has developed experimental infection models for the purpose of evaluating antimicrobial drugs. These models are ideal for efficacy screening of new compounds in the discovery phase, proof of concept, as well as for pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies. Advanced mathematical PK/PD modelling is also used as an integrated part of such studies.
Under the different subjects mentioned in the left hand menu you will find posters showing examples of study designs. The posters have been presented at international conferences.
